Two more bulk carriers with coal came to Ukraine
Two Panamax-class bulk carriers with imported coal will be in Ukraine today: one vessel is already moored, the second will enter the port tonight.
The first bulk carrier with 55 thousand tons of coal from Colombia moored at the TIS berth today at lunchtime, according to DTEK. The second vessel with 76 thousand tons of fuel from the United States will moor at the Pivdennyi port at night. New shipments of fuel will soon replenish stocks at the warehouses of the company’s TPPs.
“In addition to the two Panamaxes with imported coal, which have already arrived and are almost completely shipped to Ukrainian thermal power plants, we meet two more vessels with fuel from the United States and Colombia. The total volume of new shipments is 131 thousand tons,” said Ildar Saleev, Director General of DTEK Energo.
Now the company has agreed to import to Ukraine eight shiploads of coal from the United States and Colombia, with a total volume of almost 545 thousand tons.
