Ukrainian defenders blasted the Zmiinyi with anti-aircraft missiles on a barge (video)

A Multi Launch Rocket System (MLRS) was loaded onto the barge from which they were blasting the Russian-captured Zmiinyi (Snake) Island.
Ukrainian military officer Ivan Izhytskyi with the call sign Yizhak (Hedgehog) told “Dumska”about this.
According to him, at the beginning of May 2022, the Multi Launch Rocket System (MLRS) “Uragan”was loaded onto the barge.
After that, Ukrainian defenders “proded” the island.

“Even though they were tied to the braid, it was still not easy to wind up – not hard, but swaying. The idea was to check whether it makes sense to shoot from such a thing. Because the island is small, it is difficult to hit it, like five kopecks. As a result, 11 of the 16 shells landed on the island. We understand, there is a sense,” said Ivan Izhytskyi.
As previously reported by USM, the defenders of the Zmiinyi Island were returned from captivity to Ukraine.
