Ukrvodshlyakh chose a contractor to repair the cranes of the Kremenchug gateway

State Enterprise “Ukrvodshlyakh” on the second attempt found a contractor to repair the gantry cranes of the Kremenchug lock.
The work will be performed by Engineeringpromgroup LLC. The cost of the repair is UAH 4.25 million (USD 157.2 thousand), it will be completed by the end of 2022.
In September, Ukrvodshlyakh announced an auction to select a contractor to overhaul the gantry cranes of the Kremenchug shipping lock. However, the tender did not take place due to the fact that only one participant submitted the application, therefore on October 20th, Ukrvodshlyakh announced a repeated tender. The auction was scheduled for November 1st, but also did not take place due to the absence of two or more participants.
According to the rules for holding tenders, if only one participant participated in two auctions for the same service, then the customer of the service can conduct a negotiated procurement procedure. So, after such a procedure, Ukrvodshlyakh signed an agreement with Engineeringpromgroup.
Earlier, USM reported that 71 caravan of tug and tows had already passed along the Dnipro within the framework of experimental lockings. This was announced by the Director of the State Enterprise “Ukrvodshlyakh” Yurii Litvin.
