The Ukrainian Shipping Register inspected a Slovak vessel for the transportation of dangerous goods


The inspection was carried out by specialists from the Danube Department of the Register of Shipping within the framework of international cooperation with Slovakia.

Specialists from the Danube Department completed the inspection of the gas barge under the flag of Slovakia, the Shipping Register reported.

The work was carried out within the framework of the powers granted by the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development of Slovakia, which recognized the Register of Shipping of Ukraine as the competent authority in the field of international transport of dangerous goods by inland waterways.

The vessel was inspected on a slipway to confirm compliance with the international requirements of the ADN – the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Inland Waterways.

The results of the inspection were used to confirm the vessel’s compliance with the safety requirements stipulated for the transport of dangerous goods by inland waterways.

Earlier, USM reported that the Shipping Register of Ukraine completed supervision of the modernization of the dredger.
