Moldova will reduce tariffs for rail freight transit by 50%

“Moldova Railways” has agreed to a 50% discount on transit freight until the end of 2026.
This is reported by RAIL.insider.
The discount will apply to all cargo on a number of transit routes through Moldova, in particular through Basarabia, Velchinets, Etuliu, Giurgiuleşti, Ungheni and Novosavitska.
A separate reduced tariff will apply to grain, meal, cake, oil, ore and cargo in tanks.
CFM clarified that the discount is currently not tied to guaranteed transportation volumes.
