Port Pivdennyi increased profits 11 times
In January-September 2024, deep-sea ports of Ukraine increased revenue, while Danube ports reduced financial results.
The financial results of state ports of Ukraine for the three quarters of 2024 were published in Forbes.
According to the results of January-September, the port of Pivdennyi increased revenue by more than 11 times – to 2.34 billion UAH. This year, the net profit of the port amounted to 921.56 million UAH, while according to the results of the three quarters of 2023 – 314.64 million UAH.
The port of Chornomorsk increased revenue three times during this period – to 1.48 billion UAH. In January-September, the port increased its net profit by more than 17 times – to 668.89 million UAH compared to the same period last year.
In turn, the Odesa Sea Trade Port increased its revenue by 13% – to UAH 253 million. The net profit indicator for three quarters increased almost 2.5 times – to UAH 135.74 million.
In contrast, the ports on the Danube reduced their financial results for the three quarters of 2024. Thus, Izmail reduced its revenue by 35%, to UAH 1.32 billion, and its profit halved – to UAH 389.99 million. The Reni port reduced its revenue by 4.5 times in January-September 2024, to UAH 175 million, and its profit fell 51 times compared to the three quarters of 2023 – to UAH 10.74 million.
We will remind, in 2023, the profit of the port of Chornomorsk increased 26 times. Then the list of the most profitable state-owned enterprises also included the port of Izmail and the USPA.
