Nibulon’s vessels transport up to 60,000 tons of products to Constanta every month

Up to 60 thousand tons of products are transported monthly by Nibulon vessels along the Danube to Constanta (Romania).
This was reported by Nibulon Logistics Director Serhiy Kalkutin.
According to him, the freight transportation market on the Middle and Upper Danube is quite competitive. At the same time, the modern universal fleet and digital cargo service allow the company to feel confident in the “mature” European market.
Kalkutin said that currently 9 tugboats and 11 barges of Nibulon operate on the Danube, which are capable of transporting about 50,000–60,000 tons of products to Constanta monthly. This allows for the formation of various types of barge-tugboat caravans and combinations for cargo delivery on these routes.
He added that the transportation of grain cargo, fertilizers, metallurgical products, etc. is in demand.
Nibulon stressed that the Danube should remain a full-fledged alternative to deep-water ports for Ukrainian exports.
USM previously reported that Nibulon is entering the markets of Hungary and Germany.
